What we thought
'The Panton Arms is a lovely little backstreet pub. On a summer's day, who could not be enchanted by this white gingerbread building festooned with hanging baskets of petunias and nestled among rows of Victorian terraced houses.
The pub occupies the site of the former Bailey and Tibbet brewery and the black wrought iron gates that once bore the brewery's name, now bear the name of the current owners,
November 15th 2013Just come back from this place - and am still fuming mad! The manager/owner is a shouty arrogant male with short man syndrome. The barmaid is clearly related as has the worst attitude and brings customer service to a new low. You are made to feel that you should be honoured to be in their presence. If you want to pay £7 for disgusting 10p fish
