What we thought

Book-lined compact café CB1 is a haven for the intellectual/Bohemian/social outcast (delete according to personal viewpoint). It is one of the best places in Cambridge to get a hot drink and read a book on your own without feeling self-conscious. And you haven't got anything to read, you can always help yourself from the shelves that offers a varied mix of fiction and non-fiction.

    Service lets down what could be ideal cafe

    Claiming to be one of if not the first internet cafés, its potential is greater than its actuality. That's a polite way of saying that this arty, chilled sibling of bistro CB2 ought to be all I love about Cambridge and Mill Road especially, but recent experiences have been offputting.
