Cafe Carringtons - Grafton Centre (Cambridge)

Café Carrington in the Grafton Centre offers a similar menu to that of its older sister in Market Street, Cambridge, but with a greater emphasis of cakes and gateaux, including organic and gluten free sponges.
The food selection is nearly all home-made including soup, quiches, salads, jacket potatoes, hot panini and baguettes plus a hot lunchtime selection. The home-made cheese scones are particularly popular; nearly a hundred are sold every Saturday!
Cafe Carrington offers a real alternative pitstop for the weary shopper to the well-known high street chains by baking and making daily with fresh ingredients. In fact, their dishes are so popular, recipe cards for the most popular cakes and other dishes will shortly be available.
As to be expected, there is a large selection of drinks including freshly squeezed apple and orange juice.
Children are well-catered for with a special menu designed for their small tummies. All the prices represent excellent value for money.
Café Carrington in the Grafton Centre is an ideal venue for "people watching" as shoppers wander past through the main entrance. Children are very welcome, as are wheel chairs, which have easy access. The café is open seven days a week.
