Named for the fabled Tang Dynasty of Imperial China, Tang Chinese Restaurant & Bar brings the sheer power of traditional Chinese cuisine to your plate.
Serving family style Chinese cuisine, traditional food of high quality is on offer from across the many different and varied regions of China. Tang Chinese Restaurant & Bar serves an impresive buffet of up to 60 different dishes daily, along with an a la carte menu, allowing customers to sample a wide range of the culinary treasures of the Far East.
Both the restaurant and the menu have recently been refurbished, offering a fresh new look and exciting new tastes. The comprehensive and diverse menu created for the re-launch by Tang's new master of Chinese cookery awaits you. This includes a sumptuous selection of starters, soups, main courses and desserts. There are dozens of varieties of these tasty mouthfuls for you to try, either steamed, fried or baked.
Considered a golden age of classical Chinese civilisation, the Tang Dynasty ruled for nearly 300 years establishing the high standards of art and literature which later artists followed. Some of China's greatest poets such as Li Bai and Du Fu lived at this time. Known as a glorious period in the China's history, Tang Chinese Restaurant & Bar aims to impart some of the cultural splendour of the Tang Dynesty to you on your visit. Laid out in a traditional style the restaurant has a character which is unmistakably Chinese.
No whistle-stop tour of Chinese culture would be complete however without the Great Wall of China making an appearance. Rebuilt and even repositioned several times in its millennia long existence this symbol of imperial might has been constructed one more time to guard the bar area at the Tang Chinese Restaurant & Bar. But fear not! This mini-monument to world architectural heritage is fully accessible to marauding guests who will definitely wish to quench their thirst from the tempting array of drinks on offer.
Typical English beers and lagers are readily available, as are a classic range of wines and spirits. But why not take a trip to the orient with your drinks as well when you visit? Oriental beers are stocked including Tsingtao beer and Kerin beer. Maotai wuliangye etc. the popular Chinese liquor is served along with traditional Chinese tea.
