Hidden away on Free School Lane, off Bene't Street, just up from the tourist office, Eraina Taverna is a Cambridge institution, favourite of stars visiting the Corn Exchange and Arts Theatres, as well as, in his time at Cambridge, the Prince of Wales.
Now fully air conditioned!
As for food, the
restaurant still boasts a menu with 23 starters and over 150 different mains choices. The emphasis is on Greek cuisine with many international choices like charcoal grilled steaks, pork escalopoes, Italian pastas and rice dishes as well as pizzas, Indian dishes and more.

You can also hold a function at the Eraina, making use of the basement room, which has a capacity for 35 diners. And as always, you'll find the service friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable, with figures from Greek mythology adorning the walls and cozy seating arrangements.
