FoodNeed we say more?

Yes, one more thing: in mid-2008, The Peking moved from its home of 24 years on Burleigh Street near the Grafton Centre to a new, modern Belvedere complex opposite the Cambridge Leisure Park on Hills Road.

Now this restaurant with national recognition for its authentic Chinese food has a location to match, among fine shops and restaurants just off and beside the Hills Road Bridge. It's an easy 3-minute walk from parking at the Cambridge Leisure Multi-storey facility.

The place may now be bright and modern, but the focus is as before on the scrumptious food. Renowned chef Michael Kerr, who learned the trade more than 40 years ago from the best chefs in the world, personally does the cooking. Once you try the food you will, like many others, join the loyal following who return again and again.

The care that goes into the cooking is simply unrivalled. Where else even is the sweet and sour prepared from scratch every day? Where else can you get genuine Peking Duck and the oft-raved about signature dishes, Calamari Squid with Chili or Hunan Prawns in chili? These are taste sensations to be experienced nowhere else.
