Whilst the name is traditional, the café bar has a contemporary design with a light and airy feel. The building is air-conditioned throughout, and there is a courtyard garden, which is covered and heated for those wishing to smoke. You will be hard pressed to ignore the seductive lighting, stainless steel edges and modern design with an international menu and an outstanding wine list to impress even the most discerning customer.

The Taproom prides itself on going that little bit further to make your day. There is table service for drinks, service with a smile, and a clean warm friendly environment. The staff are all fully trained and proud to be working at a venue with the fabulous reputation of the Taproom.

So lazy Sundays, wind-down Thursdays or hair down Saturdays - whatever your mood and whatever the occasion, the Taproom provides the perfect environment to catch up over a coffee, party with friends or share a platter and a bottle of wine.

Open daily the Taproom is ready to serve you. It's a great place for quick coffee or why not stop by after work? The lunchtime menu runs from 12pm through to 8pm, with the emphasis on light meals, "mix and match" snacks and shared plates.

Serving the best breakfasts in town, at weekends you can enjoy a great start to the day, whilst browsing through the papers and weekend magazines.

You can choose from a great selection of wines, with a good range available by the glass. They also have a great selection of draught beers and stock a wide range of bottle beers from Europe and around the world. Matching the quality of the alcohol is the coffee served - only Piazza D'oro makes the grade at the Taproom.

Regular ‘happenings' take place at the Taproom throughout the month. Every Thursday is Live Music Night. Come along to enjoy the best local musicians play or sing their hearts out as you enjoy the comforts of the Taproom.
