Le Gros Franck is a unique Cambridge institution serving genuine French cuisine, cooked by award-winning French chef Franck Parnin and served with French flair and warmth.

By day, Le Gros Franck is a French patisserie, with fresh pastries, pastas and sandwiches. Specialities include our genuine French-style steak-frites, fish pies and stews.

The lunch counter offers a range of choices, from goat's cheese and spinach quiche to vegetable lasagne to fish and duck salad with savoury pancakes. Many of the evening dishes draw from the cuisine of Alsace-Lorraine, where Franck grew up and often returns for inspiration.

By night, Franck showcases regional French dishes cooked just as they should be, such as filet de boeuf Rossini, confit de canard escargot persilles and a range of fish dishes. Many regional wines are available.

Le Gros Franck can also cater for events in your home, creating fantastic banquets in the French style as well as specially prepared cakes for every special occasion including French-style weddings and birthdays. Delivery of cakes is available.
