Upgrading your localsecrets.com Loyalty Card (for Cambridge area)

The localsecrets.com loyalty card can be upgraded for use in Cambridge. This upgrade gives you an annual benefit beyond the loyalty points or discountst that any Loyalty Card holder can collect at participating retail outlets with the card alone. Upgrade now online by purchasing an upgrade from the shop or visit locations where the upgrades are sold (listed below). 

You need a card to have it upgraded with an upgrade sticker. If you already have a card, you can complete and return the reply form that accompanies the card. If you don't have a card you can either buy one online now, ask for one free when visiting any of the participating outlets or upgrade sellers or find out about how you obtain a free card by registering for localsecrets.com benefits.

If you are purchasing an upgrade as a resident or resident on benefits, you will be required to present proof of residency and/or your benefit category (details below) when you purchase it or, if purchased online, when you first present the card (when the upgrade sticker will also be issued).

What does an upgrade give me?
Upgraded cards have a special sticker applied to them that gives the holder money off at the Cambridge City Swimming Pools, events at The Corn Exchange, Cambridge colleges entry, Cambridge on Ice skating, and on activities listed in the Cambridge City Council Sports Development Service's CitySport catalogue. Link here to find out more.

About the Cambridge Card
The Cambridge Card is a partnership between Cambridge City Council and Local Secrets Ltd. The City Council maintains the policy and direction of the scheme, which replaced the former Leisurecard. localsecrets.com is responsible for the marketing, promotion and retailer involvement in the loyalty scheme.

I had a leisure card. How will I know it is due for renewal?

If you had a leisure card, it will be swapped over on your next visit to a city pool and the receptionslist will be happy to let you know if you are due to renew the upgrade.
