Welcome to the Crown Inn in the village of Linton in Cambridgeshire.
We are a family-owned and run business and strive hard to offer good food and accommodation in a relaxing atmosphere. This is what CAMRA said about us in their Good Beer Guide:
"Situated at the north end of Linton High Street, one of the most varied, interesting & picturesque streets in the area. The Crown is a long, thin pub divided into drinking areas & a non-smoking restaurant. Excellent home-cooked food is available in the bar & fantastic Bistro-style restaurant all sessions except Sunday evenings. Well worth a visit."
Linton is close to many local attractions and the recently refurbished Crown boasts free Wi-fi, and a heated patio as well as great food and atmosphere.
With polished dark wood furniture and stripped plank flooring, our brasserie-style restaurant is a great venue for any occasion.
The menu is an eclectic blend of tempting choices prepared by our experienced professional chefs, and change seasonally. Our daily specials board features fresh fish and meat dishes sourced from trusted local suppliers. And our legendary home-made desserts are guaranteed to send you home happy!

There are 5 en-suite bedrooms at The Crown, each with digital flat-screen TV, tea & coffee-making facilities and desks or dressing tables. The accommodation is simple, clean and wholly in keeping with the pub's long history as a coaching inn and stables. For guests travelling on business, there is wireless internet access available in all rooms.
The pub is conveniently located close to the A1307, Granta Science Park and the M11. Linton is only a twenty minute bus ride away from Cambridge - an ideal base for those who want to avoid the congested city centre.
The village itself is a charming location with many old buildings and small shops. The River Granta flows through on its way to Cambridge and there are many pleasant country walks in the vicinity. Local attractions include Linton Zoo and Chilford Hall. The Newmarket races and Imperial War Museum, Duxford are within half an hour's drive.
