What we thought
Livingstone's is a cosy warm area of calm located next to St. Andrew's Baptist Church on busy St. Andrew's Street. It's just a few steps away from the madness of the centre of town and the gigantic JD Wetherspoon-owned former cinema, The Regal. Built directly on to the side of the church, which dates from 1903, the church's attractive stone and flint outer wall becomes Livingstone's inner wall. Visitors are

FRIENDLY UNPRETENTIOUS OASIS IN BUSY CAMBRIDGE
I have been using Livingstones for 15 years. It is always my first choice for coffee and a light snack, sandwiches, cakes, jacket potato etc. all at very reasonable prices. In the morning they do a bacon roll and a coffee combo for a bargain price. What sets it apart is the calm atmosphere, the friendly manner and the usually quick table service of the volunteers who are young and old alike. I
