What we thought
Like many diners in Cambridge we were disappointed to hear of the disastrous fire at the King Street eatery d'Arry's in the summer of 2008. Having spent many a pleasant afternoon and evening at this laidback contemporary British eatery we were keen to visit after they re-opened following a three month closure. Except for the change of name to from d'Arry's Wineshop to d'Arry's Cookhouse nothing else has changed. The

always great but.....
I've loved D'Arry's since it first opened - the food and wine is delicious but they still seem to struggle at times to get the service right - for the prices you expect to be able to catch someone's eye - we sat for too long with empty glasses, empty plates and gave up on coffee - bearing in mind we were a party of 10 who had been asked
