What we thought
Burwell Museum consists of 11 or so different rooms, each containg 'scenes' to illustrate the life of a Fen Village. The museum is run completly by volunteers and loacl donations of both money and exhibits. Burwell Museum is also open on Bank Holiday mondays 2pm-5pm and costs £2 for adults, £0.50 for children over 5 with under 5's visiting for free.

Worth a visit
This is a great little rural museum crammed with artefacts and has lots to interest children as well as some nostalgia for older relatives. Vintage vehicles, Roman pottery and even a revolving sun house from a convalescence hospital! There's also a mill. Not open all the time so check before you go.Also an interesting walk just behind the church, with medieval earthworks from when Geoffrey de Mandeville attacked during Stephen
