Being at least a couple of miles from any village or housing, we were taken aback at how busy we found the Lazy Otter on our weekday lunchtime visit. Sunday lunch
It was so good the first time we thought we would try a lazy Sunday lunch. Our parents now in their 70s are finnicky eaters but every one of our requests was met with a smile. Genuine welcome
We popped in for a late lunch - the staff were genuinely welcoming and there was a good rapport between them all, our welcome and the wine choice made up our minds for us - the baked camembert was delicious - and the fish and chips lovely although I think the chips were frozen which disappointed me where everything else, including the biscuits for the coffee were homemade.
